Final UX/UI Diploma Project
Redesign of a Smart Parking Application
Role
UX/UI designer
Industry
Transports
Duration
6 months

As my final project for the UX/UI Design Diploma, I redesigned the official smart parking application used in the city of San Luis, Argentina.
The main objective of the project was to improve the overall user experience by identifying usability issues, simplifying navigation, and creating a more intuitive and accessible interface. The redesign focused on helping users complete common tasks—such as starting and ending a parking session, checking parking status, managing payments, and viewing parking history—with fewer steps and greater clarity.

The project followed the complete UX design process, including:
User research and analysis of the existing application.
Identification of pain points and usability issues.
Definition of user personas and user flows.
Information architecture improvements.
Low-fidelity wireframes and interaction design.
High-fidelity UI design in Figma.
Interactive prototype and usability validation.
The visual redesign prioritized consistency, accessibility, and a clean interface while maintaining the application's core functionality. The final solution aimed to reduce user friction, increase efficiency, and provide a more seamless parking experience for residents and visitors.
Tools used: Figma, User Flow Mapping, Wireframing, Prototyping, Design System principles, User-Centered Design, and Usability Testing.
